INDIVIDUAL GOLD FOR MARK BELL!
WELL DONE EVERYONE!!!!!!!
What a fabulous day! The hard work has paid off, and England are coming home with THIRD place in the team competition of this Junior World Trophy. Congratulations to all the team members, but especially to Mark Bell, who led his class (17-18 years) from the dressage and stayed there!
However, there have been many triumphs over the last four days of competition. Every young driver has done well at some point, and just to be here is a great achievement. Noted placings for Team GB are Katie Bell in THIRD overall for 15-16yrs, Michael Hodgson in FOURTH for 13-14yrs, Rosanna Walters-Symons in FOURTH for 17-18yrs, Charlotte Snow in FIFTH for 15-16yrs, Harriet Bradford in FIFTH for 17-18yrs, Amber O'Neill in SIXTH for 13-14yrs, Alice Stables in NINTH for 13-14yrs, Emily Ham in TENTH for 17-18yrs and James Gambs in ELEVENTH for 15-16yrs.
Our Chef d'Equipe Sara Howe and trainer Anna Grayston have done a wonderful job, both in training in the months leading up to the World Trophy and also out here in Austria. Everybody in the GB camp has had a fantastic time, including the supporters. What a great note to finish on. Roll on Junior World Trophy 2010 in Turin, Italy!
